Mr. Shaan Chauhan

Director

The Director has completed high School with distinction from La Martiniere Calcutta & St. Xaviers. Graduation & Post Graduation (MBA) were completed from University of Leeds, UK & Rutgers University, USA (2004) respectively.

Upon completion of undergraduate studies Shaan returned to India & joined the materials handling, exports and civil works family business. A year later he joined Rutgers to pursue the MBA program. Having completed the program, he has worked at Orion Financial, LLC, Philadelphia, an institutional brokerage firm for a year. He moved to New York next to take up a position at a Wall Street based BNBC Inc. a foreign exchange asset management firm. Having trained in portfolio management with the MBA program, Shaan was hired to trade currencies & prepare macroeconomic research reports. He has also worked at Mellon Bank for six months in the operation & reconciliation division. Shaan moved back to India in 2006

He has been involved with the group’s exports & road development divisions. His sell side experience in New York has helped him in Business Development with buyers in Bangladesh.

Shaan is very ambitious about the group’s long term project development capabilities.

He is a Director of the company and holds significant shares of the company in his name as on March 31, 2012.
